MEETING MINUTES FROM JANUARY 8, 2025
The meeting was called to order by President Jeff Streit at 7:00pm
Eight members were present, no guests.
No corrections were offered for last month’s minutes so Jeff motioned we approve them. Gary Stephens seconded, and the vote carried.
Dan McLaren presented the financials. No questions were raised. Gary Stephens motioned we accept the report. Chris Mroch seconded the motion, and the vote carried.
Gary Stephens discussed a number of issues surrounding the 2025 Swap Shop:
Add the auction to the flyer.
Change training info to “by appointment”
Add “bargains galore” to flyer.
Jim Herron volunteered to print the raffle tickets again this year. (Thank you Jim)
Bob Irish – nothing to report for maintenance
Chris Mroch reported all is up to date and running fine in the IT world.
Also, indoor flying is running from 10:00 until 3:00 on Tuesday and Thursday.
Jeff Streit reported some calendar items –
March 4 and May 1 are when the school will be at the field for rocket class days. The bus arrives around 8:30 and departs at 1:00. Come out and watch if you are available.
June 21 is confirmed as our Vets Picnic. Save the date!
Show and Tell:
Jeff showed off a J3 Cub he is making with 3D printing. It should be fun to watch when he finishes!
Jeff also had some pictures of the 1698 Moon Landing! Neat – I remember what I was doing when they landed…
February 4, 2025, is the next meeting at the school at 7:00pm.
Jeff Streit motioned we adjourn the meeting at 7:45. The motion was seconded by Gary Stephens. Motion Carried.
