Old Business: KRAM Memorial Vets Picnic:
June 1st: Arrive @ 8 am to set up canopies and tables. Pull out the grill and set up. Jeff Providing Pulled Pork, Mac N Cheese, BBQ baked beans, coleslaw, Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Buns, BBQ sauce, Chips, Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Bottled Water.
Please ask for volunteers to bring some additional salads and desserts.
Vets will arrive 9-10 am.

Gary Stephens: VP Swap Meet update:
Raffle tickets are available for members to pick up. Soon the club will mail tickets to those who haven’t gotten them in person. Swap meet flyers and raffle plane are on display at Riders, raffle ticket sales will begin at Riders later this month.
Jim Herron Maintenance Director Report:
Mowing weekly, mowers running well. Will be replacing flight line safety fencing before Vets Fly.
Requesting replacement of flight line windsocks.. faded and a bit stiff. Motion by Jim G. to buy 2 new wind socks for flight line.. seconded by Dan McLaren approximately $120 cost Passed.
KRAM Combat: hosting dates: June 3, Aug 5, Aug 26. Bloody Brit flight training/practice available for anyone wanting to join in the fray/fun! Contact me I have sacrificial spare planes we can use/abuse.
Mike Murphy: Safety Director Report
Flying season is coming, landing is the most important part of flying. Mike gave tips on how to best choose and test your landing doing so off to the east or west before actually implementing your strategy. And remember ‘You can always go around’.

Website is up to date, everything is w
orking, also been posting regional events to promote the overall hobby.
NEW BUSINESS:
Jim Grant announced that WMAA is offering us the opportunity to re-host the WMAA R/C flying program. The students would resume the previous relationship we enjoyed, with the same guest/student membership status. They would have to join AMA, and be affiliated with the school AMA club, but given a more liberal guest status flying at KRAM while attending WMAA during the school year. No late night events, no campfires, two teachers from WMAA would participate in their training. KRAM would not charge or collect any dues.
