Swap Shop financial report summary – very close to 2022 proceeds, more back door admissions than in the past. We were down about $200 from our CLUB’s table. Otherwise very close to 2022,
The 2023 Raffle Plane sales were up $40 from 2022. Congrats the winner of the Corsair: ticket #651- M.C. Humphrey
2024 deposit to hold rental date for K of C Hall was made, next year’s swap date is Oct 20, 2024.
Old Business:
Vice President Gary Stephens 2023 Swap Shop Report
All but two tables were sold, with 10 unreserved tables sold on the day of the swap meet. Total tables was up 4 from 2022. Gary offered thanks to the volunteers helping with setup, collecting fees at the front and rear door and directing our vendors to the correct tables. Kudos to Chuck Putney for assisting with security at the NW door and auction assistance, Danny Osborne for assisting with door prizes and Jeff Streit for tackling the auctioneer duties.
For next year Gary has two changes to expedite the vendor check-in process:
- the printed vendor list will be sorted alphabetically.
- a new volunteer position will be filled, a vendor entrance wrist band installer.

Dave Hills Maintenance Director Report:
Mowing is done for the year, windsocks will be up for a few more weeks.

SHOW N TELL:
Jim Grant offered free to members – vintage copies of RC Report magazines, he brought a box full.
Gordon Vogel showed his swap meet FIND – a rare 1997 vintage Eagle 2 kit. Gordon shared his experience with this plane via kits and some scratch building endeavors over the years. He currently flies a yellow Eagle 2 at KRAM on occasion.
Next Meeting is Dec 5, 2023, West Michigan Aviation Academy.
