JIM GRANT – POKER FUN FLY

  • will be 9/9/2023.
    • prizes will again be  $75, $50, $25 FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD.

CHRIS MROCH – WEBSITE STATUS –

  • 2023 Officers have been updated..
    • New initiative with local supplier partnership with Riders and WMPF
    • Jeff suggested a new member registration getting started guide type page.. FAA registration, AMA membership etc., joining our club, field rules etc.

JEFF STREIT PRESIDENT –

  • Suggests moving VETS FLY IN closer to memorial day.
    • Reminder of text messaging group we set up, suggests indoor flyers at MSA could use it too.

SPRING COUPLES DINNER  –

  • Rose Osborne has tentative open dates in mind.
    • Dan McLaren moves to have Rose pick a date, Jim Grant Seconds – Approved.

NEW BUSINESS:

Dan McLaren –

  • AMA FRIA progress.. we have submitted the questionnaire and AMA says don’t call us we’ll call you if we get it official or need any more info.
    • $120 to AMA for club Chartering… which provides our AMA insurance policy.  
      • SWAP meet in Kenokowa April 22, 2023
      • Jim Grant & Dan McLaren went for a visit to an estate with a lot of RC inventory to try and sell.  Lots of Helicopter parts and helicopters.  Asking KRAM members who know of helicopter enthusiasts to contact them to help the heirs dispose of the items.

INDOOR flying is going on at Woodland MSA.  With annual membership $5, non MSA members $10.    9:30-1:30

CHUCK PUTNEY –

announced Bill has retired from Riders.  Dave Johnson is the new  General Manager.

Show & Tell – Jim Grant

A very nice looking Aeronkish he completed from a kit featured in the November Model Aviation magazine.  Order the kit from https://www.buzzardmodels.com/Aeronkish Cost $111 for foam and power pack. 

Jim Herron – ParkZone Mosquito RTF (discontinued) – great deals from Russ Verbrugge a member of the Holland Club who picked up a batch of these.  Indoor capable at the MSA soccer field, great looking static display UMX.
