Old Business:
Mike Murphy – Safety Message Look at your transmitters and receivers – if anything needs to be sent into the manufacturer for repairs, now is an excellent time to do so.
Tom Krupa suggested the club buy an Internal Resistance meter to check the IR of LIPO’S for safety.
Jim Herron – Swap Shop 2022 – IT IS DONE AND SUCCESSFUL. Gary heard a few complaints about set up time. A discussion followed about the pros and cons of set up time vs. general public entrance. No win situation because if we let venders in earlier than the general public is upset because venders run around and snap up the good deals before the general public is admitted. More discussion before the 2023 swap shop…
Dave Hills – status of the field (Need new Field Maintenance person for 2023). Dave thanked Bob Irish for assisting in cutting the field this year. Dave noted that we needed to sharpen or replace the blades for next year. Also, the sulky needs new tires.
Jeff Streit – Social Director – DONE FOR THE YEAR!
Jim Grant – Plans for a poker fun fly again next year!
Chris Mroch – Website status – NEW EVENTS tab has been added to the website – check it out!
Gary Stephens –
Text message list when going to the field is up and running.
Please let Gary know if you want to be added to the list.
The New Safety Net pole is installed (Oct. 8). Thanks for the help, Jeff and Dave!
Field benches that need repair will be addressed in the spring.
