Old Business
Mike Murphy – Safety Message – Hot weather is upon on – stay hydrated, use sunscreen, and keep fingers away from spinning props!
Jim Herron – Swap Shop 2022 update – raffle plane is hanging at Riders, a guy at Holland is flying one just like the raffle plane. Gary thanked Jim for making new signs for the field.
Dave Hills – status of the field
Starter motor was replaced on Beast. Working well.
Rear tire replaced on tractor
Jeff Streit – weed killer and insect killer has been sprayed on field.
Jeff Streit – Social Director -plans for Vet Picnic Saturday, 6/11/22 include pulled port, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and more!
New Business
Gary Stephens – Field layout and safety – discussion about safety net across front of the shelter. After some discussion, a motion was made to spend up to $500 to improve the safety of the field for spectators. The vote carried with three opposed.
Dan McLaren – Vet’s Home picnic. Their visit was combined with the KRAM Memorial Fly In. Expecting a bus load (25 + or -) Vets must wear masks at all times except when eating. We were asked to mask up if we get close… Set up one tent for them, other two for the rest of us.
Dan for Lee Frederickson – report out on Combat event of June 2, 2022 ($88 collected for food sales with 11 flyers in the air.)
The subject of name tags for club members has been tabled at this time.
