Mike Murphy – Safety Message
Read, understand and follow the field rules with emphasis on no taxing in the pit area!
Please use the long white poles when walking in the corn to mark where you are in case of an emergency.
Make sure you have the correct manual for your transmitter, receiver etc.
Most importantly, read the manual and follow instructions as you set up your plane.
It was reiterated that the FAA number is mandatory on all of our aircraft.
There was discussion on the TRUST test. Several members have taken it. About a 20 min. test.
Jim Herron – Swap Shop 2021 – update
Everything is set for the October 24 swap meet at the K of C Hall.
Model Aviation Magazine will have our ad in the Sept and Oct issues.
The latest update to the swap shop flier is now on the KRAM website.
Dave Hills – status of the field
Moles are becoming a problem. Dave will look into poison gummy worms to put in the tunnels.
Motion by Dave Hills, and passed, to move the gravel pile to the SW corner of the field.
Jeff Streit will work with Dave and our farmer to get the gravel moved.
Steve O’Connor – Social Director
Steve is preparing for the next event.
KRAM Memorial 6/12 Fly-In – Update
Weather was great. We had 25 adults and 5 children. Steve and Kim provided great food.
We decided that we will put up tents for our next event in order to keep the building clear.
Kram Longest Day Fly-In 6/26 – cancelled
Too much rain and wind!!

Gary asked for more instructors to help Danny.
Gary will schedule a board meeting at a future date to discuss how board members can provide critical club information before we have someone pass on.
Show and Tell: Chuck Putney showed his Motion RC T-33. It is equipped with telemetry (speed, altitude and battery voltage), GPS and lights. It is powered by a 6 cell 5000 ma 50c LiPo battery. It flies great. Thanks Chuck.
