Mike Murphy – Safety Message – continue to follow social distancing and Covid safety protocol at the field…
Jim Grant – 2020 Swap Shop raffle tickets going well with $204 received as of the meeting. An additional $220 was donated for field rent.

Jim and others questioned the viability of the swap shop in this time of Covid virus. After much discussion about alternative outdoor locations, dates, logistics, etc. a motion was made by Dave Hills to cancel the event. George Orphan seconded and the vote carried.

The raffle will go on with the drawing held on October 25.

Dave Hills – Maintenance Comments – noted that the generator, and lawnmowers all had oil changes. Likewise, the fences were mended where necessary. Dave shared that the IMAC folks complimented the club on how well the grounds looked. Dave asked for direction on doing some paint touch up on our signs. All agreed to do the sign on the shelter and the sign out by the road but agreed to do away with the one by the port-a-john. This will be put on the “spring do list”.
Jim Herron thanked Dan McLaren for painting the generator box.
Jim and Dave also called for a thank you to Lee Frederickson for getting and installing the solar light for the flag.

George Orphan – promotional video is getting a few minor edits and then it will be ready for posting.
New Business
Gary Stephens – 2020 KRAM stickers for AMA cards and pouches for display are available. See Gary or Dan McLaren at the field.
Dan McLaren made a motion that we cancel all remaining events except combat for the balance of the year due to the virus. Jim Grant seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Gary Stephens made a motion to have a workday on September 12th to repair the runway. Start time would be 9:00am with the club providing lunch. Dave Hills is checking with a friend to determine what is the best way to fix and what material to use.
Lee Frederickson asked for a current members list to be posted on the door of the pin box. Can be done.
Lee Frederickson asked for clarity of By Law 9C. Gary said it is what it says.
Gary gave a brief review of the Board Meeting dealing with the Farms second complaint of the calves jumping out of their pens. The board will be bringing some proposals to the next meeting to be sure we do not loose the right to fly there.
