Review of the Minutes of the July meeting produced no additions, deletions, or changes.

OLD BUSINESS
Dan – stated the start date is the end of the week on building addition, weather permitting.
Nik reported on the KRAM picnic on July 13.

Good food, good flying, and a good time had by all that attended.
Nik reported on the KRAM fun fly of August 3 – 7 flyers participated, including 2 from Warped Wings. John Vanbaren of the Warped Wings club won the event with Nik a close second. John took home 2 new spinners from the prize box.
Ed Fowler reported the repaired mower is working well, power and fuel consumption back to normal. He also noted there are some areas under the runway mat that need repair. Work to be scheduled, probably next spring so the mat has a chance to heat up and contract after we pull it up and then restaple it.
Dave Pierce – reminded everyone that raffle tickets are available. Get with him to get your $10 of tickets so we don’t have to mail them out.
NEW BUSINESS
Reminder: Wounded Worrier event at Sky Hawks field on August 17, KRAM IMAC on Aug 24 – 25 (8 to 10 flyers expected, volunteers needed Saturday and Sunday – contact Mark or Nik if you can help), and KRAM Vets Fly In on Sept. 14.
New member name tags are in the pin box for those who have joined in the last six months. Find yours in the red coffee can on the bottom of the pin box.

Show and Tell – Mark Schmaltz showed off the new club low wing advanced trainer plane that was the club build last winter. Rider’s donated the Tiger 60 kit and club members learned building skills while assembling it over the winter. Looks good and flew great. The plane will be available to anyone that would like to learn basic aerobatics. See Mark if you want to take it for a test drive!
Greg Gallagher (father of Ryan from WMAA) expressed his thanks to the club members who donated their time and talents to the kids at the school over the winter. He stated that the kids truly learned and appreciated the skills imparted by the volunteers and encouraged us to do it again this fall.
50/50 for August won by Allen Simpson – $12.
August attendance winner was Elmars Kalnaraups.
