Well here we are, into a great flying season so far.
Lee & I attended the CARDS Warbird fly on the 5th. It was well attended, some incredible planes & pilots! This is a great event to attend, CARDS does a great job.
We have our first fly-in this weekend, praying for the weather to hold. Thanks to all the volunteers, going to be a good one once again.
A reminder to anyone who would like to fly at the AMA HQ in Muncie. There is a group of us flying on the weekend of the 19th-20th. It is a group of folks that have met on the Internet & we get together once a year to do some flyin’ & lyin! It has always been a good time, just general sport flying. Nik, John & Jase Dussia & myself will be attending. If you have never flown Muncie, you owe it to yourself to do it at least once. The facility is spectacular & the museum is something else. There is camping right on the site with electrical hookups that will handle the biggest of campers. Feel free to contact me for more info.
Also, TRAMPS has their annual Airshow on the 26th-27th of the month. Primitive camping is also available on the site.
The Metro Cruise at Mel Trotter is looking like it will be a great event, I plan on attending & possibly running a flight sim again. Ben is doing a great job putting this together, we should all look at attending.
July will be bringing our club picnic & a CARDS Fun Fly. So many events, so many planes!
Sorry I missed the meeting, was out of town at the time. Some good things were brought up, looking forward to the follow-up. I also have a pair of waders to donate.
