We had a nice turnout this month of 20 members & no guests.
Dan McLaren gave a very concise treasurer’s report, I feel he is going to be a great secretary/treasurer.
Remember that Roz Osborn is again organizing a club dinner at Brann’s on the 30th. See the event calendar for details. Last year was a hoot!
This year we will be honoring Larry Brannan for his years of service as our AMA area VP. AMA District 7 VP Bill Oberdieck will be in attendance, a great opportunity to meet him. Seating is limited to 70, so RSVP soon!
Thanks go out once again to Dave Kingma & Randy Bursley for delivering gift baskets to our neighbors at the field.
The big issue these days is the website. Nikolei has been working diligently on this. Remember, the site is still in it’s infancy & shall grow into a very nice interactive tool for the club members & guests. Any issues with the site should be referred to Nik & he will see to them.
It’s getting cold, but there is plenty of snow on the ground, so mount those ski’s & floats. Break out the seaplanes! Let’s keep flying, we are Michiganders, right?
I would like to thank the members who attended my first meeting as president. They all took it easy on the new guy & made me feel welcome.
