  1. Each member of the club is responsible for safety. Each member shall prepare for and conduct his flying activities in a safe manner. It is the obligation of each club member to conduct himself and to conduct his flying so as not to cause injury to others or their property.
  2. All AMA safety rules must be followed at all times.
  3. No more than five (5) aircraft may be airborne at any one time. Flyers are to utilize one of the five flight stations located on the field in order to promote safer flying. An exception to this rule is made for group or exhibition flying where all members of the group or team may stand together in order to communicate and coordinate flight maneuvers. Likewise, jet flyers, when given control of the flight line, may determine where is best for them to execute their flight.
  4. Before any individual can turn on their transmitter, they must have in their possession the frequency pin that corresponds to their transmitter frequency. The flyer must replace the frequency pin with a pin holding their AMA/ Club card. Flyers using 2.4 GHz radio systems must obtain a 2.4 GHz (blue tag) pin from the frequency control board, place it on their transmitter and place their AMA/club card in the corresponding position (A, B, C…)
  5. All engines .032 and larger must be equipped with a manufactured stock muffler, tune muffled pipe, or modified muffler that reduce the engine noise level to 96 DB at 20 feet.
  6. All club members are responsible for the damage they or their guests cause at the flying field. In the event there is a dispute over the amount or cause of damage the problem will be referred to the club officers for final action.
  7. All trash including crashed, smashed or discarded aircraft must be removed from the field or crash site and taken home. This rule means you remove ALL debris from the crash site.

  10. Members are allowed to have one flying guest per day and the member must be present with the guest. To fly solo, all guests must be an AMA member or in the AMA application process, otherwise be under the direct supervision of a club member. A guest that uses club facilities more than 3 times within 3 months is expected to join the club.
  11. Flying hours for powered flight at the field are: Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 9 PM and Sunday flying hours are from 1:0 PM to 9:00 PM.
  12. In the event that a flyer, holding the properly assigned frequency pin is caused to crash by a person improperly turning on a same channel transmitter, the offender is considered financially responsible for the authorized flyers loss. In the event the persons involved cannot agree, the club officers will then decide on a fair settlement.
  13. Flyers may hold only one frequency control pin or 2.4 GHz pin at any given time. During club events or on busy flying days, the frequency control pin must be returned to the pin board or offered to other pilots sharing the same frequency after each flight.
  14. The field is closed completely while being mowed. Everyone is to leave the field and parking area completely, unless asked to help by the person mowing.
  15. The fabric runway and the airspace above the runway are to be kept open at all times for take off and landings. Aircraft (of any sort) at not allowed to hover or hang over the runway. “Touch & Go” landings are permitted after the pilot calls out “Touch & Go” before each maneuver.
  16. Flying must generally be in an oval or racetrack pattern and all flyers must go in the same direction (clockwise or counter clock wise). On special event days, club officials will determine the direction of take off & landing.
